Brown Sugar Salmon (1 point)

Ingredients:

2 filets of uncooked salmon

2 tbsp swerve brown sugar

1 tsp lemon zest

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp table salt


Directions:

Preheat the oven to 400F. Prepare a baking sheet by lightly spraying it with oil. Set aside.

In a small bowl, combine the sugar, lemon zest, paprika and salt. Pat the salmon filet dry and spray lightly with oil.

Scatter the spice rub over the salmon and gently massage into the fish. Drag the skin side through any spice that may have fallen.

Marinate for 10-15 minutes. Bake until the salmon is cooked through, 10-15 minutes depending on the thickness of the fish.


Suggested Serving: Serve with lemon wedges.
