Chicken Parmesan Burgers (1 point)

Ingredients:

1 pound ground chicken breast

2 tbsp sundried tomatoes, chopped

2 tsp minced garlic

1 tsp italian seasoning

1/2 tsp table salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 cup tomato sauce

4 tbsp light grated parmesan


Directions:

In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, sun dried tomatoes, garlic, italian seasoning, salt and pepper.

Shape into 4 even patties, about 1/2" thick.

Spray a large skillet and place over medium high heat.

Add the burgers and cook 5-6 minutes, flip and cook another 4-5 minutes, until the burgers are done.

Arrange burgers on a cookie sheet and spoon 2 tbsp of tomato sauce followed by a heaping tbsp of parmesan cheese on each.

Place under the oven broiler until the cheese is melted. Let the burgers rest a few minutes before serving.
