Chocolate French Toast (2 points)

Ingredients:

1 egg white

1/4 cup almond milk

3/4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp no added sugar pancake syrup

2 slices carbonaught seeded bread


Directions:

In a shallow dish or bowl, whisk together egg white, milk, cocoa, syrup and vanilla.

Soak bread in egg mixture, one slice at a time, until most or all the egg is absorbed.

In a large nonstick skillet, coated with cooking spray, over medium heat add the bread slices and cook until crisp. About 3-4 minutes on each side.


Suggested Serving: Serve with syrup and fresh fruit. Recipe can easily be doubled or tripled.
