8 servings (1/4 cup each)
Ingredients:
4 cups unsweetened fruit, 1/2 inch pieces
3 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 (up to 1 cup) sweetener
2 tbsp cornstarch
Directions:
Place all the ingredients into a large saucepan, mix and bring to a medium high heat.
Once bubbling, reduce heat slightly and use a spoon to muddle and mash the fruit.
Continue cooking over medium low heat for 10-15 minutes, occasionally mashing the fruit.
Remove from heat and transfer to a clean container to cool.
Store in a covered container in the refrigerator or freezer.
Suggested Serving: Great on pancakes, waffles, french toast, oatmeal, yogurt or all on it's own.
