5 servings
Ingredients:
1/2 cup kodiak mix
2 tbsp light butter
3 tbsp ice water
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F.
Into a medium bowl add the kodiak mix and cold butter. Using a fork, cut in the butter until the mixture looks like coarse sand.
Add ice water 1 tbsp at a time, and mix dough just until it sticks together.
Cover dough with plastic wrap and place into the fridge for 30 minutes.
Remove from the fridge and divide dough into 5 even pieces. Roll out and place over small ramekins filled with stew.
Cut a few vent holes in the crust. Brush crust with a little milk.
Bake for 15 minutes. If crust needs a little more browning, place under the broiler for a few minutes.
Suggested Serving: Any stew will do; chicken, beef or turkey.
