8 servings
Ingredients:
1/4 cup quick oats
1/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup kodiak mix
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp table salt
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F. Prepare a cookie sheet or whoopie pie pan by spraying it lightly with oil. Set aside.
In a medium bowl combine the oats, kodiak mix, baking soda and salt.
Add the applesauce and mix until dough is formed. Add a little more applesauce if too dry.
Divide the dough into 8 equal mounds.
Spread the mixture, flatten and shape (3" circle) with wet fingers.
Bake 8-10 minutes. Let them cool a few minutes before moving.
Completely cool before storing them in a covered container in the refrigerator.
Suggested Serving: These are great with cheese, jam, peanut butter or on their own.

Could I use high protein oat flour as a substitute for the Kodiak mix?
