Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey breast
1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp ground cumin
1 cup tomato sauce
4.5 oz can green chilies
Directions:
Spray a medium non-stick skillet and set over medium heat.
Add the ground turkey, onion, garlic, chili powder, oregano and cumin.
Cook the mixture, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until mixture is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Stir in the tomato sauce and the chiles; bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, until the flavours are blended and the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
Suggested Serving: Put about 1/4 cup of filling in the center of a tortilla. Fold up by tucking in the ends and rolling. Place seam side down on a sprayed baking sheet and bake at 400F until golden and crispy, about 20 minutes. Serve with shredded cheese, salsa, greek yogurt, chopped tomatoes, sliced green onions and a squeeze of lime.
