Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey breast
4 oz uncooked onion, chopped
4 oz uncooked celery, chopped
4 oz uncooked bell pepper, chopped
4 oz canned mushrooms, drained
19 oz canned tomato sauce
5 1/2 oz canned tomato paste
8 oz water
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 pinch red pepper flakes
Directions:
In a large lightly sprayed skillet, add the ground turkey and cook on medium high heat until browned and cooked through, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon.
Add the onion, celery, peppers and mushrooms. Mix and continue cooking for a couple of minutes.
Add the tomato sauce, paste, water, worcestershire sauce and spices to the skillet.
Stir well to combine and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
Suggested Serving: Serve over spaghetti squash, veggie noodles or pasta.
