Apple Sauce Jello Snacks (0 points)

4 servings (4 pieces each)


Ingredients:

1 Jello no added sugar jelly powder

1/4 cup water, warm

3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce


Instructions:

In a bowl pour in the package of jello and add 1/4 cup warm water. Mix. Set aside.

Put the 3/4 cup of unsweetened apple sauce into a pot and heat it to boiling.

Add the hot applesauce to the jello/water mixture. Mix.

Pour into a 8" x 4" loaf pan. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours.

Cut into 16 - 1" x 2" bite-size pieces.

I like to then freeze mine once they set up after I cut them. Once they are frozen, I separate the pieces and put into a container that I keep in the freezer for a quick frozen snack.

This recipe can be easily doubled and then poured into an 8" x 8" pan.


Suggested Serving: Best taste is with the berry jellos; cherry, strawberry, and raspberry.
