Asian Tuna Cakes (1 point)

Ingredients:

1 can tuna, water packed , drained

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1 egg

1 medium green onion, sliced

1 tsp garlic, minced

1 tsp ginger, minced

1 tsp dried parsley

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp sesame seeds

1 pinch red pepper flakes


Directions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine tuna, bread crumbs, egg, onion, garlic, ginger, parsley, soy sauce, sesame seeds and red pepper flakes.

Form into 3 equal sized patties.

Heat a large sprayed skillet over medium high heat. Add the patties.

Fry the tuna cakes for about 3-4 minutes on each side. Be careful when flipping them as they are very delicate and will crumble easily.


Suggested Serving: Serve with Wasabi Yogurt Sauce.
