Black Bean Burgers (0 points)

Ingredients:

19 oz can black beans, rinsed and drained

2 oz uncooked rolled oats

1 egg

1/4 lime, juice and zest

1 tbsp ground cumin

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp chipotle chili powder


Directions:

Add all the ingredients into food processor or blender and blend until the beans are somewhat blended.

Pour the bean mixture onto a cutting board and shape into a giant patty.

Cut into 4 pieces and shape into 4 patties.

Freeze for at least 2 hours before cooking or keep frozen until ready to cook.

Heat a sprayed skillet on medium heat and cook frozen burgers, about 7-10 minutes, on each side.

Or air fry @390F for 10-12 minutes.


Suggested Serving: Enjoy with your choice of chipotle spread, salsa, hummus, tomato, pickles and lettuce.
