Berry Chia Jam

8 servings (3 tbsp each)


Ingredients:

5 medjool dates, pitted and chopped

1/4 cup hot water

1 cup berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries)

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tbsp chia seeds


Directions:

Add your dates to a blender, cover with hot water. Let sit for a few minutes to soften the dates,

Add the berries, lemon juice and chia seeds and blend until the dates are broken down.

Cool and transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 weeks.


Suggested Serving: Serve on toast, bagels, pancakes, waffles, cheesecakes, muffins or in yogurt.
