Buffalo Chicken Sloppy Joes (0 points)

4 servings (1/4 mixture each)


Ingredients:

1/2 cup uncooked onion, chopped

1/2 cup uncooked celery, chopped

1/2 cup uncooked carrot, chopped

1 pound ground chicken breast

1 cup canned tomato sauce

1/4 cup frank's red hot sauce

1 tbsp worcestershire sauce


Directions:

Heat up a sprayed large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the onion, carrots and celery and cook for 5-6 minutes or until onions are translucent and vegetables are softening.

Add the ground chicken breast and cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, breaking up the meat as it cooks.

Stir in the tomato, frank's and worcestershire sauces and simmer for several minutes, until heated through.


Suggested Serving: Serve over toasted bread or rolls with blue cheese or ranch dressing or crumbled blue cheese.


Can also be served in lettuce wraps or on top of cauliflower rice.
