Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey breast
1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
2 tsp minced garlic, divided
1 tsp table salt, divided
1/2 tsp ground black pepper, divided
1 pkg coleslaw mix, cabbage and carrots
1/2 cup onions, chopped
14 oz crushed tomatoes
14 oz tomato sauce
3 cups fat free chicken broth
1/2 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp date powder
Directions:
In a medium bowl add the ground turkey, worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Add the meat to a large sprayed saucepan, over medium high heat, and cook until the meat is no longer pink.
Add the coleslaw mix, onions, crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, fish sauce, lemon juice and date powder.
Bring soup to a boil and turn to simmer.
Continue cooking until the cabbage is soft and the meat is cooked through, about 30 minutes.
