Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey breast
1/2 cup onion, finely diced
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp ground cumin
15 oz tomato sauce
4 1/2 oz green chilies, chopped
Directions:
Spray a medium non-stick skillet and set over medium heat.
Add the ground turkey, onion, garlic, chili powder, oregano and cumin.
Cook, breaking up the turkey until browned, about 6 minutes.
Stir in the tomato sauce and the chilis; bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer, uncovered, until the flavours are blended and the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.
Suggested Serving: Serve filling in tortillas with cheese, salsa, greek yogurt, chopped tomatoes, sliced green onions and a squeeze of lime.
