Chocolate Maple Syrup (1 point)

12 servings (2 tsp each)


Ingredients:

1/4 cup maple syrup

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa

2 tbsp water

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

1 pinch salt


Directions:

Add all the ingredients into a microwave safe bowl. Whisk until combined.

Microwave for 30 seconds.

Store in a covered container in the refrigerator. Sauce thickens as it cools. Remove from refrigerator to warm up or run under hot water.


Variation:

PB Maple Syrup - substitute the cocoa powder with pb powder.


Suggested Serving: Great on ice cream, yogurt, cheesecake or fruit.
