Date Balls (2 points)

12 servings (1 each)


Ingredients:

106g deglet noor dates

1/4 cup quick oats, uncooked

2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa

24g good protein chocolate powder

1/4 cup pb & me peanut butter powder

1/2 cup water, date soak water

46g 85% dark chocolate, chopped


Directions:

Soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain and reserve the water to use later.

Combine the softened dates, oats, cocoa, protein powder, peanut powder and the date soak water.

Blend until dates are broken down. Stir in the chopped chocolate.

Divide the mixture into 12 equal portions, roll into a ball and then roll in unsweetened cocoa.

Refrigerate until ready to eat.


Variations: You could substitute the good protein chocolate protein powder with mocha or chocolate cherry or mini egg flavours.
