Glazed Steelhead Trout (0 points)

Ingredients:

4 trout fillets

2 tbsp no added sugar pancake syrup

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp swerve brown sugar

1 tsp dijon mustard

2 tsp minced garlic


Directions:

Pat fish fillets dry. Put into a shallow container. Set aside.

Whisk together all the rest of the ingredients. Pour over fish. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Remove fish from marinade, reserving a little to baste the fish while cooking.


Cook fish by pan frying, skin side down, in a lightly sprayed skillet on medium high for about 6-8 minutes on one side, flip and cook for another minute or 2 depending on the thickness.


Cook fish by baking on a lightly sprayed foil lined baking sheet in a preheated oven at 400F for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness.


Cook fish in a lightly sprayed air fryer at 390F for 8-10 minutes, depending on the thickness.
