Oatmeal Stuffing (0 personal points)

6 servings (1/2 cup each)


Ingredients:

1 cup onion, chopped

1 cup celery, chopped

2 cups old fashioned oats

1 1/2 chicken broth

1 tbsp dried sage

1 tsp italian seasoning


Directions:

Spray a large saucepan and warm over medium heat.

Add the onion and celery and cook until they are lightly browned and soft, about 7 minutes.

Add the oats, broth and spices and stir everything together and cook over low heat for about 10 minutes.

The mixture will be dry. If it gets too dry, add a little more broth. Stir on occasion to prevent burning.
