Savoury Granola (1 personal point)

10 servings (3 tbsp each)


Ingredients:

1 cup uncooked old fashioned oatmeal

1/2 cup uncooked steel cut oats

1/3 cup pepitas

2 tbsp sesame seeds

2 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp ground coriander

2 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

3 tbsp no sugar added pancake syrup

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 egg whites


Directions:

Preheat oven to 325F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining with parchment paper and spraying lightly with oil. Set aside.

Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl, making sure everything is well coated.

Spread the mixture on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally and rotating the sheet to prevent burning.

Let cool. Crumble and store in a covered container.


Suggested Serving: Great as a salad topper or anywhere you want a savoury crunch.
