Spelt Bagels (2 points)

Updated: Feb 7

4 servings (1 each)

Ingredients:

1 cup spelt flour

2 tsp baking powder

3/4 tsp table salt

1 cup 0% plain siggi's yogurt

1 egg white, beaten

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375F. Prepare a baking sheet by lining with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder and salt.

Add the yogurt and mix. Combine and form a dough ball.

Lightly sprinkle a clean surface with flour and knead your dough about 15 turns.

Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and roll each ball out to form a rope approximately 3/4 " thick by 6" long.

Join the ends together to form your bagel and repeat with the rest of the balls.

Brush each bagel with the egg wash and sprinkle with seasonings.

Bake for 25 minutes.
