Taco Turkey Slaw (1 point)

4 servings (1 1/4 cups each)


Ingredients:

1 lb ground turkey breast

4 tbsp taco seasoning, divided

1 14 oz can diced tomatoes

1 4 oz can green chilies, chopped

12 oz broccoli slaw


Directions:

Heat a large sprayed skillet over medium heat. Add the ground turkey breast and 2 tbsp of the taco seasoning.

Cook until meat is browned and cooked through, about 15 minutes.

To the skillet, add the diced tomatoes, green chilies, slaw mix and remaining 2 tbsp taco seasoning. Cook until slaw mix is tender, about 7 minutes.


Suggested Serving: Serve topped with plain fat free greek yogurt, salsa, green onions, chopped tomatoes, black olives, banana peppers, a squeeze of lime and homemade tortilla chips.
