4 servings (1 burger each)
Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey breast
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tbsp mustard
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp table salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and gently mix, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Split the mixture into 4 equal portions and form each portion into a ball. Making balls instead of patties allows us to smash the turkey burgers down into a very hot skillet which should create a nice crust.
Spray a skillet and heat up on high. You want the pan to be very hot!
Place a turkey burger ball onto the hot skillet and press down with your spatula. Cook 3-4 minutes per side or until cooked. Repeat with the rest.
Suggested Serving: Serve on a bun with toppings of choice.
