Turkey Spaghetti Sauce (0 points)

4 servings (1/4 mixture)


Ingredients:

1 pound ground turkey breast

1/2 cup onion, diced

1/2 cup celery, diced

1/2 cup green pepper, diced

1 tbsp garlic, minced

1 tbsp italian seasoning

29 oz can crushed tomatoes


Directions:

In a large sprayed saucepan, over medium high heat, add the turkey.

Cook until lightly brown and cooked through, breaking it up, about 5 minutes.

Add the onion, celery, green pepper, garlic and seasoning. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the tomatoes, reduce the heat and cook until slightly thickened, about 20 minutes.


Suggested Serving: Serve over pasta, spaghetti squash or a mixture of both.
