Ingredients:
14 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 tbsp splenda
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup lily's dark chocolate chips
Directions:
Blend everything except the chocolate chips until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Divide and pour the batter evenly into a very well sprayed 6 hole donut mould.
Bake at 350F for 13-15 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Suggested Serving: Serve with a chocolate glaze made by combining 1/2 cup swerve icing sugar + 1 tbsp cocoa + 1/2 tsp vanilla extract + 2 tbsp almond milk.
I made these for the first time yesterday.. also they are sugar-free they taste very rich and decadent. I had my husband who is very picky try them and he thought they were really good even when I told him they were made from black beans. Just have a couple of questions. It said blend therefore I assume in a blender instead of six donuts I had 11 now my pens may be smaller than yours or either blending in a blender made the better a little more liquid.
