Blackberry Chia Jam (2 points)

4 Servings (1/4 cup each)


Ingredients:

2 cups blackberries

50g deglet noor dates

2 tbsp dried chia seeds

3 tbsp, hot date soak water


Directions:

Soak the dates in the hot water, then remove them from the water.

Place the blackberries, chia seeds, dates and 3 tbsp of the date soak water into a food processor and blend until smooth.

Pour into a clean jar with a lid. Place in the fridge for a few hours or overnight to allow the jam to thicken before using.


Suggested Serving: Serve on bread, muffins and crackers or mixed into yogurt, smoothies and oatmeal.
