Chicken Shawarma (0 points)

3 servings (1 breast each )


Ingredients:

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp minced garlic

1/2 tbsp ground coriander

1/2 tbsp ground cumin

1 tsp ground cardomon

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

1 tsp table salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

3 uncooked chicken breasts


Directions:

Combine all the ingredients, except the chicken and mix well. Set aside.

Add the chicken breasts to a large ziplock bag.

Pour marinade over the chicken, seal and massage, from the outside, with your hands, to make sure each piece is coated. Marinate for 3 hours up to 24.

Cook the chicken either by air frying, grilling or baking until the chicken is cooked through.

Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve.


Suggested Serving: Serve sliced on a pita with a bit of lettuce and tomato as well as a dollop of garlic yogurt sauce (see recipe).
