Ingredients:
14 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
2 tbsp spelt flour
1 tsp italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp table salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 large egg
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spray lightly with oil. Set aside.
Put all the ingredients into a food processor or blender. Process until completely blended and smooth (like thick hummus).
Divide the mixture in two, wet your fingers and spread out (about 7" in diameter circle) on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes. Add toppings and return to the oven for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
