Ingredients:
8 oz green beans, ends trimmed
0.5 oz sliced almonds
1 tbsp light butter
1 tsp minced garlic
Directions:
Steam your green beans until almost tender, 5-8 minutes. Drain and refresh under cold running water.
Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add almonds and cook until just starting to turn brown, watching closely so as not to burn.
Take the pan off the heat and add butter to melt. Return to heat and add garlic.
Mix in green beans and continue to stir until heated through, 3-5 minutes.
Suggested Serving: Serve as a side dish with a squeeze of lemon.
