6 servings (2 meatballs each)
Ingredients:
1 pound ground turkey breast
1/4 cup dried bread crumbs
1 egg
1 tbsp italian seasoning
2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried basil
1/4 tsp black pepper
6 babybel light cheese, wrappings removed
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray 6 muffin cups in a muffin tray. Set aside.
Add the ground turkey, bread crumbs, eggs, garlic and spices into a medium bowl, mixing until thoroughly combined.
Divide into 6 equal muffins. Flatten each muffin in the palm of your hand, place an unwrapped cheese round in the center and then wrap the meat around the cheese and place into the prepared muffin well.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Suggested Serving: Serve with tomato sauce and fresh basil.
