4 servings (1/2 cup each)
Ingredients:
10 oz uncooked rutabaga, chopped
6 oz uncooked carrots, sliced
4 oz uncooked apple, peeled and sliced
4 tsp light butter
Directions:
Add the cut up rutabaga and carrot to a large pot. Fill with water to cover and bring to a boil over medium high heat.
Boil for 15 minutes and then add the apple and boil for another 5 minutes or until apples are soft.
Drain the water and blend mixture until smooth. Add the butter and mix in.
Suggested Serving: Delicious side dish.
