Ingredients:
1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 plain 0% greek yogurt
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
2 tsp date powder
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients together.
Refrigerate overnight
Can be eaten cold or warmed up combined with fruit, seeds or nuts.
Variations:
Peanut Butter Cup - add 2 tbsp powdered peanut butter + 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa. The points will increase to 2 points.
Vanilla Protein - add 6g good protein creamy vanilla protein powder. The points remain at 1.
Apple Cranberry Vanilla Protein - add 6g good protein vanilla protein powder + another 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon + 1/2 chopped apple + 27g reduced sugar craisins. Leave out the date powder. The points go up to 2.
Blueberry Banana Vanilla Protein - add 6g good protein creamy vanilla protein powder. Add 1/2 mashed banana + 1/2 cup blueberries. Leave out the date powder. The points are 0.
Banana Salted Caramel Protein - add 6g good protein salted caramel protein. Add a sliced banana. Leave out the date powder. The points are 0.
Strawberry Banana Vanilla Protein - add 6g good protein creamy vanilla protein powder. Add 1/2 mashed banana + 1/2 cup strawberries. Leave out the date powder. The points are 0.
Blueberry Lemon Poppy Seed - add 6g good protein vanilla protein powder. Add 1/2 cup blueberries + 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice + 1 tsp lemon zest + 1 tsp poppy seeds. The points remain at 1.
Chai Apple - leave out the date powder and add a serving of chai microwave gooey apples (see recipe). The points remain at 1.
Apple Crisp - reduce the milk to 1/4 cup, add 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce + 1/4 grated apple + 1/4 tsp additional cinnamon. Top with a couple tbsp oats + 3g sliced almonds + 1 tsp date powder (toasted). The points will increase to 2 points.
Spiced Apple - add 6g good protein vanilla protein powder, reduce the milk to 1/4 cup, add 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce + 1/4 grated apple + 1/4 tsp additional cinnamon + 1/8 tsp nutmeg + pinch of ginger. Leave out the date powder. The points are 0.

The original recipe does not call for almond milk, the the variations call for increasing the almond milk? Could you clsrify please?
