4 servings (1/4 cooked pork + 1/4 apples and sauerkraut)
Ingredients:
1 pound uncooked lean pork tenderloin
24 oz sauerkraut, drained
1 large apple, cut into sections
1/2 cup uncooked onion, chopped
2 tsp garlic minced
1/2 tbsp caraway seeds
Directions:
Spray a large skillet and heat on medium high heat.
Add the pork tenderloin and cook until browned on all sides. Add the pork to the slow cooker.
Add chopped onion to the frying pan and cook until onion is soft and slightly browned. Add the garlic and continue cooking for another minute. Set aside.
Add the chopped apple to the slow cooker.
Empty the drained jar of sauerkraut on top of everything. Top it off with the fried onions and garlic.
Add the caraway seeds, stir to mix.
Cook on low until the apples are tender... 4-6 hours.
Suggested Serving: Serve with real bacon bits and mustard.
