Roasted Chickpeas (1 point)

4 servings (1/4 mixture)


Ingredients:

19 oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp table salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp paprika

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)


Directions:

Heat the air fryer to 390F.

In a medium bowl, add the chickpeas, olive oil and spices.

Dump the whole batch of chickpeas in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking a couple of times.

When the chickpeas are roasted to your liking, remove from air fryer.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Store in an open container.


Suggested Serving: Serve on salads or all on its own as a snack.

They are better eaten right away as they get a little soft when sitting... still tasty though!
